TITLE: POST- PANDEMIC SANITIZATION OF COLLEGE CAMPUS BY NSS

OBJECTIVES OF THE PRACTICE:

 To develop a disease free campus for students and teachers who were coming to College after the prolonged pandemic period.

THE CONTEXT:

The institution was closed during the Pandemic phase and a certain amount of awareness could be spread by the NSS through sanitization of the Campus. 

THE PRACTICE:

 Student volunteers guided by their unit teachers, Head of the institution and other teachers of the institution came together to clean the campus which was left unattended from March 2020  due to the severity of the Pandemic. Sanitization was done by using liquid sanitizers and disinfectants all over the place.

EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS:

It was highly successful as all the participants happily participated in this sanitization drive. It was also a proof that people had become aware of the necessity of maintaining a healthy and hygienic atmosphere in the educational institution.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED AND RESOURCES REQUIRED:

There were no such problems encountered in the above mentioned practice.

TITLE:

 FELICITATION OF NEWLY JOINED TEACHERS AND PROFESSIONAL DEGREE AWARDED PRE- EXISTING TEACHERS

OBJECTIVES:

 To maintain the standard of the institution by promoting academic excellence among the teaching staff members.

CONTEXT:

Since the institution was closed for a long time, a number of new teachers were appointed. Another set of existing teachers had also acquired their Doctoral and M Phil degrees during this period.

PRACTICE:

Felicitation to the following members by the Head of the institution for obtaining their Professional degrees:

1.  Dr. Monalisa Ghosh of  Political Science

2.  Dr. Jagannath Mondal of Geography

3.  Prof. Soumik Paul (M.Phil) of Sanskrit

Dr. Md. Hasan Askari, Jayanta Barman and Gurucharan Murmu were felicitated as new appointments.

EVIDENCE OF SUCCESS:

This practice was highly successful as the responses from teachers were pleasing and truly encouraging for this practice.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED AND RESOURCES REQUIRED:

It was one of the best moments as the entire staff could appreciate each other’s excellence and no such problems were encountered.
